I was very excited for this project! Many of my vacations as a child were spent in Scottburgh, and in particular, staying at the Blue Marlin Hotel. I have many a good memory here and was even more excited when I heard that Dream Hotels had acquired the Icon and had done some major refurbishments. Machangulo Beach Lodge is located in southern Mozambique, just opposite the well known island of Inhaca. The Lodge is just over an hours boat ride from Maputo, offering a scenic ride in good weather, from being able to take in the sweeping views of Maputo to the tranquil island settings of Inhaca as you approach your island destination.
