2019 was an excellent year, having the opportunity to photograph a large variety of Hotels and Lodges, not only from different Biomes in South Africa, but also various countries in and around Africa. Seldom do I arrive at a photoshoot knowing little about the Lodge and work required. I received an email request from Ivan, asking for photos and video of his Lodge. Armed little info after several emails, a week later we were off (I was going to do the photography and I have hired Nathan Pellow-Jarman to shoot the video at the same time). 2018 proved to be a great year when it comes to showcasing great Lodges and Hotels around Africa. The year started with a family trip to Rocktail Bay, shooting for Wilderness Safaris. The Coastal Forest Reserve has to be one of my special places in South Africa. Quiet, few people, great beaches, incredible diving, and now, something new, scorpion trails at night with infra-red torches.
