Underwater

The Maputaland coastal forest mosaic occupies the humid coastal strip along the Indian Ocean, situated in northern KZN, stretching up to the Mozambique border. An area rich in plant species, and with the coastal lakes included, provides perfect habitat for more than 470 bird species. The coastline is particularly untouched, provided unspoilt beaches with little other life around other than the few locals that come down to the sea for their daily fishing. Rocktail beach Camp is situated within the confines of the Coastal Forest Reserve, tucked away under the canopy of the forest, within a short walk of the beach.

Photographing the Islands in the Seychelles The Alphonse Atoll is located 400km southwest of Mahe, Seychelles. It consists of 3 incredible islands, Alphonse, St. Francios and Bijoutier, all in absolute pristine condition and providing refuge for numerous sea and land animal species. Alphonse is probably most well known for it's fishing, mainly fly-fishing, both on the flats, as well as blue fly-fishing. There are numerous other activities available, which certainly lends itself to a great family destination - snorkelling, scuba diving (offers some of the best diving I have experienced in a long while), island exploring (St. Francios is a birders paradise

Machangulo Beach Lodge is located in southern Mozambique, just opposite the well known island of Inhaca. The Lodge is just over an hours boat ride from Maputo, offering a scenic ride in good weather, from being able to take in the sweeping views of Maputo to the tranquil island settings of Inhaca as you approach your island destination.
