Photographing Prominent Cultural Hotels Under their comprehensive portfolio, African Hotels & Adventures (AHA) feature 2 prominent Cultural Destinations - namely Lesedi Cultural Village near Magalieberg in Gauteng, and Shakaland near Eshowe in KZN. It was first time visits to both of these destinations for me and thus, I was pretty eager to see what they were all about, and of course, photograph them! I was greeted by Jarvis at the airport, picking me up to take me to Kafue National Park which was a 4hr drive from Lusaka. Jarvis escorted me to my, by coincidence, private shuttle to the Reserve. Carefully weaving his way through the traffic in Lusaka, it was clear that he knew this route well, taking the back roads to try miss the traffic which was backed up due to ongoing roadworks (like in the rest of Africa, "ongoing" actually means perpetual, never ends).
