Photographing the Islands in the Seychelles The Alphonse Atoll is located 400km southwest of Mahe, Seychelles. It consists of 3 incredible islands, Alphonse, St. Francios and Bijoutier, all in absolute pristine condition and providing refuge for numerous sea and land animal species. Alphonse is probably most well known for it's fishing, mainly fly-fishing, both on the flats, as well as blue fly-fishing. There are numerous other activities available, which certainly lends itself to a great family destination - snorkelling, scuba diving (offers some of the best diving I have experienced in a long while), island exploring (St. Francios is a birders paradise

Kafue's Beautiful Lodges Once again I was lucky enough to called to photograph some Lodges in the Kafue! Three Lodges from South to North, with one Lodge the sole purpose being creating a promo video. Kaingu Lodge - well covered in the past, this certainly is one of my absolute favourite places in Africa! The location on the river is just incredible. Arrival is through the reserve and then a short boat ride to the Lodge through the most incredible riverine area. This year's task was to create a promo video for the Lodge and their surrounds

Showcasing Top Games Lodges in South Africa During 2016 I photographed several Game Lodges for African Hotels & Adventures (AHA). Bongani Mountain Lodge - located just east of Nelsruit in the Malalane mountains. The Lodge is situated in the Mthethomusha Game Reserve and has one of the most incredible locations of all the Lodges I have photographed to date - views over the mountains at sunset are incredible! Thakadu Game Lodge - situated in the North West Province in the well known Madikwe Game Reserve. Another great Lodge, smaller in size that Bongani, but provides a great experience, with luxurt tented rooms situated on

Photographing Prominent Cultural Hotels Under their comprehensive portfolio, African Hotels & Adventures (AHA) feature 2 prominent Cultural Destinations - namely Lesedi Cultural Village near Magalieberg in Gauteng, and Shakaland near Eshowe in KZN. It was first time visits to both of these destinations for me and thus, I was pretty eager to see what they were all about, and of course, photograph them! Shakaland gives one an insight into the lives of the Zulu tribe, how they live, how their home structure works, and of course, an insight into their culture. Experiencing everything from dancing, cultural ceremonies, weaving demonstrations and even locally
